Mmusi Maimane, DA-leier, is skuldig bevind omdat hy versuim het om sy borgskappe te verklaar, het ‘n parlementêre subkomitee oor etiek en ledebelange bevind. Hulle het aanbeveel dat Maimane beboet word.
Maimane is saam met nog ‘n DA-LP, Makashule Gana, skuldig bevind. Hulle is glo per brief ingelig dat hulle teen die straf kan appelleer.
Parlementslede moet elke jaar hul belange verklaar.
Nie Maimane of ander lede van die party wou nie kommentaar lewer op die skuldigbevinding nie.
Die ANC het in November die klagte teen Maimane en ander DA-lede ingedien nadat hulle glo nie al hul finansiële belange verklaar het nie.
Die lede het borgskappe ontvang in aanloop tot die DA-leierstryd in 2015.
Maimane, wat verklaar het hy het “niks om weg te steek nie”, moes later erken dat dit ’n “ernstige oorsig” was.

The DA persisted and won the case against the residents. So if an old resident can’t pay the rates he/she must sell and leave the area, according to the DA. The province has become a very tyrannical aggressor to law-abiding citizens and uses other peoples money to appease the enemies of the nation.These people are enemies of civilization and it is time that people who are like-minded take a stand against appeasing this savagery.
