Die BRICS-groepering se posisie teenoor korporatiewe mag, het gelei tot die jongste skermutseling tussen die VSA en BRICS.

By die vierde BRICS-byeenkoms in Durban het lede gesê gesonde kompetisie is ‘n voorvereiste vir ekonomiese groei.

Dit is bo-aan die agenda in Durban om onmededingende gedrag in die onderskeie lande te oorkom.

Die groep sê hulle is vasbeslote om weg te doen met monopolieë en die verbetering van die groei in opkomende ekonomieë.

Duur verbruikersgoedere, gebrek aan innovasie en stadige ekonomiese groei is rampspoedig vir opkomende ekonomieë, net soos monopolieë en nywerheidskartels sê lidlande.

Brasilië ondersoek tans sement- en koffiekartels.

Rusland se ekonomie is geruk deur samespanning toe Samsung, LG en Phillips pryse op monitors gemanipuleer het.

Indië sukkel met monopolieë op natriumkarbonaat wat gebruik word om glas te maak asook in sy sementbedryf.

En China het reeds motorvervaardigers soos Audi en Chrysler beboet vir onmededingende gedrag.

‘n Raadgewende maatskappy oor ontluikende markte, Frontier Advisory Deloitte sê egter dit is noemenswaardig dat die beleggingsbestuursmaatskappy, Goldman Sachs sy BRICS-fonds gesluit het.

Deloitte se besturende direkteur, Martyn Davies het aan ‘n beleggingsberaad in Johannesburg gesê beleggers het verkeerdelik geglo dat die wêreldekonomie na ontluikende markte verskuif, met die BRICS-lede Suid-Afrika, Brasilië, Rusland, Indië en China as die vernaamste rolspelers.

Hy sê Rusland en Brasilië se ekonomië is aan die afneem, terwyl Suid-Afrika se ekonomie vasgeval het. Slegs China is nog sterk, ten spyte van laer groeisyfers.

    Well it had to, because Russia has deployed S-400s in Syria. Complete panic in Britain. The Russian anti-aircraft missile system in Syria is able to hit jets at an altitude of up to 90,000 feet as far away as Tel Aviv. The Brits and their friends thought they were the only ones who could bring down passenger planes.

The Americans, have nothing like these systems, the can intercept planes missiles and bombs at a great range(400klm) and altitude. The US answer to the S400 is the Patriot which only has a range of 70kliks, and is so accurate they always fire 2 missiles for every target. By firing 2 missiles, the US has got the kill rate up to 10%, and that’s counting the British plane they shot down whilst it was landing.

      En Amerika het niks wat eens naastenby die S-400s oortref nie. Met sulke gevorderde wapens is “Dog Fights” ook iets van die verlede.
      Rusland se militêre mag word onderskat.
