Die waarheid wat die klimaatskonferensie in Kopenhagen bly ontwyk, is nie dat die weer warmer of koeler raak nie, maar dat die mensdom die wêreld oorbevolk.
So lui ‘n berig in een van Kanada se grootste dagblaaie, die Financial Post .
‘n Planetêre wet, soortgelyk aan China se een-kind-beleid, is die enigte uitweg om die katastrofale globale geboortekoers van een miljoen geboortes elke vier dae, om te keer.
Die aarde se ander spesies, plantegroei, hulpbronne, oseane, watervoorraad en atmosfeer is besig om ten gronde te gaan as gevolg van hemelhoë menslike reproduksie.
Ironies is China, die land se vuil steenkoolaanlegte ten spyt, die wêreldleier in terme van beleid wat omgewingsdegradasie die beste bekamp deur ‘n een-kind-beleid.
Indien die beleid wêreldwyd toegepas word, sal die aarde se bevolking afneem van die huidige 6.5 miljard tot 5.5 miljard teen 2050, volgens ‘n wetenskaplike studie wat aan Wene se Instituut vir Demografie onderneem is.
Teen 2075 sal daar 3.43 miljard mense op die planeet wees. Dit sal ‘n daadwerklike verskil aan die bestaan van ander spesies, oseane, atmosferiese kwaliteit en woude asook lewenstandaarde meebring.
Indien niks gedoen word aan geboortegroei nie, sal die aarde ‘n onvolhoubare bevolking van nege miljard teen 2050 moet dra.
Mense is veronderstel om die enigste rasionele diere te wees, maar moet dit egter nog bewys. Mediese en wetenskaplike vooruitgang het laer babasterftes en langer leeftye tot gevolg gehad. Alhoewel dit verwelkom moet word, kan die aarde net soveel mense dra as dit by speoltoilette en voertuie kom.
Die oplossing is maklik en eenvoudig en dit is dramaties. En die wêreldleiers het dit nie eens op hulle agenda geplaas in Kopenhagen nie.
In plaas van oplossings sal daar fotosessies, warm lug, armbultery en derglike oor klimaatswetenskap en klimaatsbedrog wees. Groot windplase sal aangekondig word en allerlei subsidies.
Nie een daarvan sal vrugte dra tensy die Chinese oplossing van een kind geld nie. Ongelukkig is daar magtige opponente wat die idee betref. Leiers van die wêreld se fundamentalistiese godsdienste preek voortplanting en is geweldig gekant teen geboortbeperking.
Die meeste leiers in ontwikkelende lande perpetueer ‘n kranksinnige Catch-22 situasie waar hulle kinders nie van ‘n maatskaplike veiligheidsnet of ekonomiese welvaart kan voorsien nie, wat juis beskerming en vooruitgang snoeker.
China het gewys dat geboortebeperking ‘n slim beleid is. Die middelklas groei, inwoners het almal huise, gesondheidsorg, opvoeding en kos.
Vir diegene wat dink dis aaklig dat regerings gesinsgetalle beheer, gaan ‘n verrassing aanbreek die dag as daar twee keer soveel woestyn as landbougrond is, die Amazone verdwyn het, olifante weg is en oorloë oor water, skaars kommoditeite en ruimtelike behoeftes gevoer word.
Die punt is dat Kopenhagen nie die punt is nie.
Dis trouens heeltemal irrelevant. Al wat uiteindelik sal tel is krimpende bevolkings wat hul gemors opruim en gedwing word om te bespaar.

The German physicist, aerospace physician, writer and television presenter Heinz Haber wrote in 1973 that a planet the size of our Earth should not be populated with more than 500 million human beings in order to maintain a harmonious balance between human beings and nature. Today (June 2013 ) we have, with (officially listed ) 7.2 billion human beings, reached more than 14 times this guideline value, and an end of this population growth is not in sight! A huge mass of unemployment and the collapse of our prosperity will be further consequences. A worldwide, mandatory birth control for all countries of Earth is urgent, if we want the impending climate catastrophe to weaken somewhat.
Even the UN IPCC has recognised the danger in its fifth World Climate Report, but played it down by only predicting a higher sea level rise than previously prognosticated. The world however is in store for an unprecedented climate catastrophe which will bring us human beings – even in Europe! – primeval conditions. According to a current campaign at the world’s largest petition platform “change.org”, the reasons for this are obvious, but are ignored and tabooed as a result of ignorance, cowardice and lust for might.

“The overpopulation of Earth is a huge disaster and shows the picture of an egoistical thinking human being who doesn’t care the slightest bit about his/her environment and who has raised the fulfilment of his/her desires to be the supreme principle of his/her life. The quality of the future life of all human beings is inseparably connected with the state of nature. The unrestrained plundering, exploitation and the therewith accompanying destruction, devastation and poisoning of the soil, air and water, caused by the huge demand for foodstuffs and goods of all kind of a still explosively growing population, presents the human beings with unsolvable problems. Overpopulation is not a taboo word, rather the exact term for an excessive number of human beings brought about by an irrational and irresponsible procreation of children, and which nature can no longer cope with.
