Die wêreldwaghondliggaam wat chemiese wapens beheer, se kundiges sal waarskynlik Dinsdag begin om Sirië se voorraad chemiese wapens te inspekteer.
’n Ooreenkoms betreffende die wapenafbouprogram is Vrydagnag ná middernag in Den Haag, Nederland, deur die uitvoerende raad van die Organisasie vir die Afskaffing van Chemiese Wapens (OPCW) bereik.
Die organisasie het ’n beroep op lidlande gedoen om vir die vernietiging van Sirië se chemiese wapens te betaal. Die OPCW het nie self genoeg personeel om die taak te behartig nie en nog kundiges sal aangestel moet word.
Anglo-Amerikaanse intelligensiedienste beraam dat Sirië sowat 1 000 ton sarin-, mosterd- en VX-senugas het wat dekades lank versamel is en op tientalle plekke landwyd geberg word.
Kundiges meen dit gaan riskant en duur wees om die chemikalië op te spoor en te vernietig in dié land, waar meer as 100 000 mense nou al in die burgeroorlog dood en miljoene haweloos gelaat is.
Sirië se chemiese wapens moet binne nege maande vernietig word – ’n proses wat lande soos Rusland en die VSA meer as tien jaar geneem het.
Sirië moet inspekteurs se veiligheid verseker en aan hulle “onmiddellike en onbeperkte toegang” tot alle wapenopslagplekke gee. Die OPCW-inspekteurs het 30 dae om al die opslagplekke wat deur Sirië uitgewys is, te besoek.
Sirië het nie sy eie inventaris van chemiese en ander wapens beskikbaar gestel nie en sekere bergings- en vervaardigingsaanlegte is nog nie bekend gemaak nie. Alle vervaardigingsaanlegte moet teen 1 November vanjaar vernietig word.
Dis nog nie duidelik hoe en waar die chemikalieë vernietig gaan word nie. Dié proses moet teen middel 2014 afgehandel wees.

OPCW moet die gesig draai na Amerika se kant ook en daar gaan rondsnuffel. Ek dink hulle sal verbaas staan wat se ontdekking gemaak sal word. Daar word gese: “Who watches the watchmen”

1. The reason Christians will not accept their gospel (good
news) is in crisis is because they will have to admit publicly that it is all a
fantasy based on faith, emotion and feelings. In fact the most illiterate
(uneducated) continents in the world are the most religious. Africa and Latin
America head the list as they have the least atheists and nonreligious in the
world. In other words most Christians are illiterate and therefore unable to
logically analyze things. The rest are totally brain washed as a result of the
propaganda and indoctrination they have had to endure since childhood when they
were illiterate. Most are told if you trust the good news gospel you need blind
faith like a child as Jesus told us.
2. It’s always the same story. Most people come across
Christianity as children growing up (we are all born atheists) and
understandably they are easily indoctrinated but when they become adults at
twenty one years old they do not discard what they were told but allow
themselves to remain brainwashed, because they can’t deal with the fact that
life is indeed ultimately meaningless, so they need the illusion of a purpose
driven life, where one is held by the loving hands of a caring personal God who
takes you with him to spend eternal life in heaven when you die. They are still
like little children in need of close family ties. That’s why they call God
“Abba” Father, each other, brother and sister, and themselves “sons of God” and
Jesus is called a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Others come to Jesus
when experiencing “hard times”. These would be sickness, substance
abuse/addiction, bereavement, tragedy, poverty, divorce, war, instability,
unemployment, orphaned, loss, accident, theft, etc.
3. Preachers use the message of life’s situations and circumstances
that corral you into a corner whereby “you feel a lack of control” and thereby
you turn willingly, thankfully and robotically like being hypnotized to a
Christ who: heals the broken hearted, sets the captive free and makes the lame
to walk and the blind
to see. People don’t need to be born again; they need to grow up, think for themselves
by being educated and start to take responsibility for their own lives and
rather strive to improve as human beings unfettered by chains of superstitious
thinking, where blaming the devil, sin nature etc is a convenient cop-out.
Christianity is in crisis because we are living in the twenty first century. We
have the science and technology. We are in the information revolution age,
where being dumb on purpose is not a virtue and ignorance is not bliss. We have
the internet and Google. The internet is doing to evangelical ideas and the
Bible what the printing press did to medieval Catholicism.
4. Over the last 150 years evolution has been established as a scientific
Theory just like the Theory of gravity. The Big Bang theory has now been proved
by the
discovery of the Higgs boson as the only explanation of how our universe is
now. The out of Africa theory proved by genetics blows the Adam and Eve
creation mythologized myth out of the water. There was no talking snake, no
Adam and Eve and no original sin, therefore there is no need for a savior. We
are not born in original sin and totally depraved. We originate from Africa.
You can believe that evolution, the big bang and out of Africa theories are
flawed and full of holes because you do not want to understand them, but that
does not mean that they are flawed. Serious scientists have proved that they
are truth, who am I to argue? Do you argue with your Doctor or your IT
Technician or the brain Surgeon; of course not. You would have to be insane to
do that. That is why atheists regard evangelical
Christians as mentally ill, deluded, gullible, naïve, superstitious, childish thinkers
and as a result they have no credibility.
5. Many contributors tell us that they have a relationship
with Jesus, and their lives have changed and that is why they believe. They
will explain that Jesus, the resurrected Son of God, is in their heart and that
they respond and are guided by an inner witness of the Holy Ghost; therefore
scientific facts, proofs, evidence, confirmation, verification, substantiation,
corroboration and any knowledge opposing the Bible have never been stop signs
or speed bumps on their “spiritual” path. The ultimate defense of their faith
is their testimony. After all avenues of reason are exhausted (or more usually,
at an impasse), many will proclaim that although they cannot always explain
their beliefs, they always know why they believe and it’s because of what happened
to them.
6. The problem with using testimonies to validate beliefs is
that it puts you in an untenable position. In order for your testimony to have
any weight, it must be true to others as well. Yet what do you do about
competing testimonies? If you acknowledge them, then for those people at least,
your testimony holds no water. And this is especially damaging, since
testimonies are often used to try to convince others that Christian ways are
God’s ways, and that they really work. It does not help your cause if you
reject competing testimonies as being of the devil, for then you cannot expect
anyone to believe in yours. This, however, is the position that Christians must
take, for otherwise their testimonies become meaningless. That is why
Christians proclaim that the only way to the Father, joy and heaven is by Jesus
“the door”, “the window”, “the gate”, “the way”, “the truth” and “the life.”
There is no other way. Only “born again” Christians will make it to heaven as
they have become new creatures in Christ and are accepted by God as children of
God.
7. Yet in reality the only evidence for the indwelling of
the Spirit comes from a few contested Bible verses, some contested
philosophical arguments, and a subjective feeling (imagine) that one knows God
personally. This is easily countered by the subjective experiences of other
believers in other religions
around the globe. So there is a problem with testimonies: yours is not the only
one; for every testimony about how God helped you kick a drug habit, turned you
around, or healed you, etc there are others, for how he did nothing or the bad
habits came back again or the healing was lost. So the question arises, whose
testimony are you going to believe? Testimonies are just people testifying
about their experiences. And no one can say whose are valid, and whose are not.
8. Would you become a Scientologist just because a celebrity
like Tom Cruise says it works for him? Or convert to Islam like Cat Stevens, a
famous singer from the sixties, who converted to Islam changed his name to
Yusuf Islam and probably had an experience just like yours. Many famous film
stars have found that Buddha has changed their lives. Cognitive behavioral
therapy used by Psychotherapy counselors also helps in producing positive
results in changing unwanted behavior patterns. Faults, flaws and weaknesses in
our character are natural to all humans. In Church these flaws are called sin,
which makes you feel condemned and in an emotional hypnotic state you give your
life to Jesus who loves you despite your flaws and can deliver you from your
perceived sins.
9. You might be changed and healed mentally by your
experience but it happens in your imagination. That is why it is real to you.
It does not mean Jesus is really the son of God. At most he was a philosopher
and prophet. Biblical scholars themselves admit that the God of the Bible is a
warlike tribal God whose throne was in the heavens (sky), and does not exist
outside the holy Bible text or the imaginations of believers. Therefore Jesus cannot
be the Son of God. To you, he might be, but in reality he is not. Just an imaginary
friend for adults like you had when you were a child.

asof hulle reeds in ‘n selfbeskikkings gebied woon sodat dit ‘n gladde
oorskakeling sal wees.
Verder kan julle as inwoners van Theewaterskloof al julle
eiendomsbelasting vir die jare 2008/9, 2009/10 en 2010/11 terugeis omdat die
munisipaliteit nagelaat het om die tariewe te promulgeer. Die vraag
is nou of julle as inwoners dit gaan doen of gaan dit te veel moeite wees ?

Die indruk wat hier geskep word is moontlik misleidend. Gebruik liewers die
“Rade vir die onderskeie Gemeenskappe” waar ons woon en werk. Die woord “gebied” skep die indruk van ‘n “volkstaat” wat nog baie vêr in die toekoms wag. Dit het die Afrikaner sedert 1994 geneem om te begin skryf aan die konsép wet (klousule vir selfbeskikking) nadat hy deur sy verraaier op ‘n politieke sylyn geparkeerd is. Ten spyte van grondwetlike
bepalings oor intérne selfbeskikking het die Afrikaner skromelik sy plig
versuim om gehoor te gee aan die voor vereistes in die grondwet om intérne selfbeskikking te
bewerkstellig. Die NBR het darem begin om die handves vir taal- en kultuur regte en die konsep wet vir interne selfbeskikking voor te berei.
Die VF+ wat by uitstek gekies was om dit te doen het liederlik hier in gefaal.
Dit het op die einde van die dag ‘n man wat hoegenaamd nie met politiek verbind kan word nie, geneem om dit aan die gang te sit.
Om ‘n Afrikaner/Boer/ Blanke te wees vereis geen politiek nie.
En dit wat Jaap Kelder doen, is nog nie geewenaar hierdie afgelope twintig jaar nie.
Die feit dat Sirië sy chemiese wapens gaan vernietig is goeie nuus. Niemand kan die besit en gebruilk van sulke onmenslike wapens goedkeur nie.
Mar wat nou egter van chemiese wapens in Amerika, Israel en ander lande? Trouens Amerika het chemiese wapens op groot skaal gebruik in Viëtnam.
Feit is dat hierdie ‘n poging is van Amerika om te probeer save face. Hulle het geswik voor die opbou van Russiese vlootmagte in die Oostelike Middellandse see en besef hulle lyk nou belaglik in die oë van die wêreld. As daar ‘n ding is waarvoor die Amerikaners respek het, is dit kanonlope wat in hulle rigting wys. Dit “kry hulle aandag” soos hulle self so graag sê.
